Frequently asked questions

Common technical and deployment questions about Hyper Flux™ UVC 740—so engineering and procurement can align on specs quickly.

What is Hyper Flux™ UVC 740?

A smart water-disinfection reactor built around 265nm UVC LEDs (chamber Ø46×744 mm), with adaptive dose control and sensor feedback for recirculating / process water—non-thermal physical disinfection with traceable dose, energy, and alarms.

Why 265nm instead of traditional 254nm mercury lamps?

265nm is near the nucleic-acid absorption peak, supporting higher inactivation efficiency. LEDs are mercury-free and power-tunable—better for closed-loop flow/intensity control and avoiding full power at low flow.

What dose does it deliver?

Per unit: 479.2 mJ/cm² Standard and 584.6 mJ/cm² Boost; NP3S three-in-series (3S) Boost max cumulative 1,753.8 mJ/cm². Flow range 5–35 L/min; actual performance depends on site UVT and flow.

Which applications fit?

Semiconductor UPW, AI liquid-cooling biofilm control, RAS aquaculture, pharmaceutical cold disinfection needs, and cooling-tower loops. See use cases.

Does it leave chemical residues?

It is designed around UVC physical disinfection—not chemical dosing as the primary method. Qualification still follows process specs or owner requirements before deployment.

How does it integrate with existing piping?

Bypass or inline on recirculation loops; high flow can use multiple reactors in parallel. Piping and controls are finalized after engineering assessment.

What data does the monitoring platform provide?

UV-related metrics, flow, energy, alarms, and trends—with exportable operating history for audits and ESG / net-zero reporting.
