Quarantine tank supply: guard the water between tanks

Most quarantine pathogens arrive with the fish—UV cannot treat the fish. HyperFlux UVC 740 keeps intake clean, keeps tanks from infecting each other, and leaves a dose/UVT record per tank.

Pain point

Shared supply means one carrier fish can stop movement for a whole facility; when inspectors ask which tank, sites often cannot answer. A single tank can hold enormous biological value, yet sit behind a ~15 L/min inlet.

Approach

One HyperFlux UVC 740 per tank or tank group (within ~25 L/min), logging dose and UVT continuously and filing per tank—standalone, quick-connect on an existing fill line, or OEM-built-in.

  • No mercury, no chemical residue—compatible with salt and treatment baths
  • Eel, koi, ornamental fish, aquarium quarantine share the same freshwater / temperature / flow band—one machine
  • PoC compares water-quality parameters (counts, UVT), not survival rates

What to verify

  • Separate supply and timestamped per-tank logs
  • No survival or disease-rate promises; no claims to prevent or kill named viruses
  • Site sizing from meter flow and UVT
